Make These 3 Habits in Your Life, So You’ll Never Regret

A couple of years passed as I spent my days in the same manner by lying in bed while swiping endlessly between phones and sensing oblivion instead of exhaustion.

Not tired — just… regretful.

Every activity of my day failed to generate any sense of life or pride within me. Answered emails. Chatted with people. Checked off “busy work.” But none of it mattered. None of it moved me forward.

I encountered three important daily habits. They changed everything.

1. Stop sleeping without making progress.

A progress that counts…not just any progress, meaningful progress.

Even if it’s just a few lines of code, half of a page in your journal.

Reaching out to someone that you admire.

It may be as simple as that, writing an idea might not be useful today, but could change everything in the next year.

Your story of success doesn’t come in a night, so write the story yourself, day by day.

Go to bed knowing you moved the story forward.

Don’t end your day empty.

2. Keep your circle aligned.

Have you ever felt tired of being with someone? Ever walked away from a conversation feeling more tired than before?

That’s the effect of mismatched energy.

But one day, I realized: I don’t owe my energy to everyone. So I started choosing better.

Be with people who don’t absorb your energy, but share and give.

Cut off unwanted connections politely.

You’ll get to know someone in just a few hours of conversation.

If they don’t feel like peace, maybe they’re not meant to stay. And that’s okay.

Remember, the role you play in others must be natural, never force yourself to be someone you’re not.

3. Understand who you are

You don’t need another motivational YouTube video telling you to hustle harder.

Recap how you grew up, how mom and dad raised you, and how your environment quenched you to become who you are.

Understand what you’re capable of. What are your favourites?

Create your personal playlist.

Update with what you have experienced, and add to the queue next.

Remove what no longer fits.

Life is too short to keep experimenting with identities that don’t belong to you.
